OLKA Sportresor choose to work with Tree-Nation to address the environmental issues, mostly because they have a genuine, serious and simple goal – to plant a trillion trees before 2050. Knowing how positive this is for the environment and also socially for some of the local communities where trees are planted, we want to be a part of this.
We believe it's positive that this main goal and our own ambitions can be so easily measured, since we will plant at least one tree per traveller every year. We have created the OLKA Forest where the progress will be updated daily and where we also can interact with our travelers. It was of course of importance that many other companies collaborate with them - but our visit to the office of Tree-Nation solidified the view - that Tree-Nation and OLKA feel like a perfect match made in ”tree-heaven”.
